You know that spring is here when the wisteria is in bloom. (Pictured above). This vigorous vine just about covers the entire pergola with it's fragrant clusters of purple flowers.
Glowing in the afternoon sunlight is an abutilon (chinese hat) flower.
And lastly, a rhondaleisha shrub in bloom, with it's pretty scented pink flowers.
I love this time of year in the garden,
lots of pretty flowers
and lovely fragrance in the air.......

The thing I most regret aboutm oving house is that we no longer have a wisteria :( Yours is gorgeous. But our new garden is full of happy spring fragrences too.
